Youth unemployed people in Italy 2022, by educational level
In 2022, 7.8 percent of young individuals in Italy with a tertiary degree, such as university or doctoral degrees, were unemployed. More specifically, the percentage refers to people aged 25 to 34 years. The unemployment rate was the highest among individuals who either held the elementary school certificate or had no education. The youth unemployment mostly affects the southern regions of Italy.
