As per an assessment done in 2019, Cisco had an estimated 100,000 enterprise data center networking customers, whilst Dell EMC have a reported 15,000 enterprise data center networking customers. Mellanox Technologies, who have seen yearly increases to revenues from their switch systems product offering, had around 2,000 enterprise data center networking customers, with Nvidia announcing its intention to purchase the company in 2019 to bolster its data center operations.
