Argentina: impressions and tweets on TV news programming during the COVID-19 outbreak

In the week when the first case of COVID-19 was reported in Argentina, from March 2 to 8, 2020, almost 69 thousand tweets about television news programming were recorded in the South American country. Those tweets generated more than 8.8 million impressions. Later that month, from March 23 to 29, 2020, over 85.4 million tweets on televised news were registered, an increase of practically 24 percent. Meanwhile, the numer of impressions increased by approximately 24.8 percent, surpassing 11 million views.
