BBVA: GHG emissions 2020

In 2020, Banco Bilbao Viszcaya Argentaria's Scope 1 emissions totaled 12,467 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent. This was a decrease of 4,625 metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent compared with the previous year. Scope 1 greenhouse gas emissions include direct emissions from stationary combustion plants installed in buildings and branches under the operational control of BBVA
