Global stainless steel scrap imports by region 2021
In 2021, Western European countries imported over 3.3 million metric tons of stainless steel scrap, of which approximately 3.1 million metric tons were traded internally. In the same year, Asian countries imported nearly 1.73 million metric tons of stainless steel scrap.
