In a survey conducted in early 2020 assessing the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on investors in India, 36 percent of respondents indicated that they had lost between 30 to 45 percent of the value of their investments. It was also found that 100 percent of the respondents reported losses in varying amounts. The survey also found a link between percentage loss by equity owner versus their experience in the market.
