Coronavirus impact on Airbnb's monthly revenue in Beijing, China Q1 2020
Just before the Chinese New Year in late January 2020, the coronavirus COVID-19 began to spread across China. In March 2020, Airbnb saw a 43 percent fall in its revenue in Beijing compared to the same month in the previous year. The occupancy rate of Airbnb properties stood below ten percent in China.
