Future prospects of retail sector companies due to COVID-19 in Finland 2020
As of April 2020, almost 80 percent of the retail sector companies in Finland estimated that their businesses will continue or will be likely to continue in three months time despite the coronavirus pandemic. However, over one fifth of the retail companies experienced uncertainty over business continuity. According to the survey, around 12 percent stated that there will be a high risk of shutting down their businesses, while one percent reported that their businesses will end by July 2020.
