In the United States, in the fourth quarter of 2020, 16 percent of playback on OTT services occurred within the drama category, down from one percent in the previous quarter of the same year. Drama was the most viewed genre in 2020, followed by action and adventure. Meanwhile, science fiction and horror content became less popular.
