CET1 ratio of the NatWest group 2013-2023
Common Equity Tier One (CET1) ratio is a measurement of a bank’s core equity capital and gives insight as to how well a bank can withstand financial stress. As of 2021, all banks should have a minimum required CET1 ratio of 4.5 percent. The NatWest group reported a CET1 ratio of 13.4 percent in 2023. The NatWest group was named Royal Bank of Scotland group until 2020, when it was renamed after the brand under which the majority of its business was delivered.
