In 2022, e-commerce spending growth on consumer goods in Vietnam was highest for food category at 18.9 percent. In contrast, e-commerce expenditure on furniture declined by more than six percent. The COVID-19 pandemic and related restrictions have made more consumers turn to online channels for essential products in the country.
