According to a survey on wildlife trade in Hong Kong, 75 percent of the respondents never consume wildlife products before, about 22 percent had already reduced or stopped their wildlife product consumption after the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. More than 80 percent of the respondents said that they did not intend to purchase wildlife products in the future.
