An LNG tanker with a 160,000 cubic meter storage capacity could be chartered at an average spot price of 89,200 U.S. dollars per day in 2021. This was a notable increase compared to the previous year, with the global LNG tanker fleet having grown to 700 vessels at the end of 2021.
