Europe: cities with the longest traffic jam delays 2019
Rome, the Italian capital city, was home to the most saturated metropolitan areas in Europe in 2019, based on the annual number of hours lost in congestion over a year. In Rome, drivers spent an average of 166 hours per year held up in traffic jams. Paris ranked second among the European cities surveyed, with an average of 165 hours lost.
