As of May 2022, the mandated ethanol blend for gasoline in Brazil amounted to 27 percent. This rate was established in the country in 2015. Argentina and Peru have significantly smaller mandated blend rates, at 12 and 7.8 percent respectively. In addition, Colombia recently reduced its mandated blend to six percent, although it is expected to be raised back to 10 percent by August 2022.
