Ethanol fuel production in Argentina 2010-2021
In 2021, Argentina's fuel ethanol production amounted to over one million cubic meters, an increase of almost 25 percent in comparison to the previous year. The annual Argentine production of ethanol has remained relatively stable above one million cubic meters in recent years. In 2020, ethanol production was affected by a decrease in fuel demand, triggered by lockdown measures and mobility restrictions amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.
