Investment breakdown of insurance firms Europe 2019-2023

In 2023, bonds accounted for more than 50 percent of all investments by European insurance companies, with government bonds alone amounting to approximately 1.6 trillion euros. In the same period, France, Germany and the United Kingdom were the leading countries by insurance investment.
