Decrease in advertising expenditure in Finland March 2020

As of March 2020, media advertising expenditure in Finland decreased in total by 15.5 percent compared to March 2019 due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. Spending on advertising in printed newspapers, printed free newspapers, and movies fell by over 30 percent in comparison with the previous year. At the same time, online media advertising declined the least, by 1.3 percent, and TV advertising declined by 6.5 percent.
