Biodiesel feedstock consumption in Argentina 2010-2021
In 2021, Argentina's biodiesel production was forecast to consume approximately 1.36 million metric tons of soybean oil. While this figure would represent a slight increase compared to the previous year, the country's consumption of soybean oil for biodiesel production has dropped significantly since 2019, among others due to a drop in diesel consumption brought on by an economic recession and a reduction in the country's blend mandate.
