Comparison of age of first sexual intercourse for US females in foster care 2011-2017
U.S. females who had been in foster care had their first sexual intercourse at earlier ages than those who had not. By age 15, more than half of women who had ever been in foster care had had their first sexual intercourse, compared with 25 percent of women who had never been in foster care. This statistic shows the cumulative probability of sexual intercourse for females aged 18-44 who had been in foster care compared to those who had not, in the U.S. from 2011 to 2017.
