Share of landings of fish stocks by EU member states 2018

EU members states are subject to the Common Fisheries Policy, a set of rules and quotas that fishing fleets have to abide by when fishing in the EU fishing areas. In areas where UK and other EU members' vessels fish, UK fleets caught 93.5 percent of haddock stocks in 2018. Another four percent of North Sea haddock landings were made by Danish vessels that year.
