Domestic and international tourist visits to Warsaw 2020, by purpose
In 2020, 26 percent of domestic tourists stated that their main purpose for visiting the capital of Poland was to sightsee. International tourists, however, were more spread in terms of their visiting purposes. Getting rest and sightseeing were two leading reasons for international visitors who decided to travel to Warsaw that year, each accounting for 27 percent and 26 percent, respectively. Finally, participation in conferences and transfering were the least popular visiting purpose among both types of tourists.
