In 2022, around 5.8 thousand medical tourists from Mongolia visited internal medicine departments in South Korea, making this the most commonly sought out medical department by Mongolian medical tourists. This was followed by obstetric and gynecological departments as well as medical examination centers. A total of around 248.1 thousand medical tourists visited South Korea that year.
