Layoffs within tourism due to COVID-19 Norway 2021

How many layoffs have businesses in the travel and tourism industry in Norway completed due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic? According to a survey conducted in May 2021 by the employers' organization NHO Reiseliv, several employers had to implement layoffs due to the crisis. As of May 2021, 29 percent of surveyed hotel and accommodation businesses stated to have dismissed over 75 percent of their staff. Meanwhile, 22 percent of travel agencies claimed the same as of May 2021.
