Japan: perception of preferential treatment of men and women by gender 2023

According to a survey on gender equality conducted between November 2022 and January 2023, over 85 percent of female respondents in Japan found that men in general received preferential treatment in society. Male respondents agreed with this statement to a lesser degree.
