Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative urea production volume FY 2015-2022
Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Limited recorded a production of over four million metric tons of urea in financial year 2022. This was a slight increase from the production volume recorded in financial year 2015. Urea is considered an important nitrogenous fertilizer in the farming community of India as it contains 46 percent nitrogen content.
IFFCO had over 36 thousand Indian cooperatives with diversified business interests. However, its primary business was manufacturing and selling fertilizers across the country.
