Largest retail closures in the UK based on job losses between 2010-2019
Over the past decade, United Kingdom's (UK) retail sector suffered huge job losses due to store closures. The largest of these retail closures, based on the number of job losses they involved, was British Home Stores (BHS), which resulted in 11 thousand jobs lost. BHS, a department store retailer, collapsed in 2016.
