Average profit and loss of hospitals Japan FY 2018, by category
A survey conducted from July to October 2019 found that the hospitals in Japan were experiencing an average loss of approximately 206 million Japanese yen from medical practice in fiscal year 2018. The loss was covered by several subsidies for expenses, which resulted in an average ordinary income of around 4.9 million yen.
