Video gaming penetration in France 2023, by device

According to a survey of internet users in France, as of the third quarter of 2023, about 84 percent of respondents reported playing video games on any device. Smartphone gaming was the most popular option among respondents, with roughly 60.4 percent stating they played video games on their smartphones. Console gaming was more popular than laptop or desktop gaming, with 39 percent of respondents stating they played on console compared to the 29.8 percent reporting they play on laptop or desktop.
