Thailand: preferred subscription types online games 2022

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in April 2022, almost 86 percent of Thai respondents stated that they preferred free-to-play online games. The survey also explored gaming-related purchases and it revealed that around 34 percent of Thai respondents have made random-chance purchases.

The survey was conducted among 7,476 female and 3,979 male respondents. Other surveyed countries included China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.
