Number of newly unemployed people after the COVID-19 outbreak in Sweden 2020, by age
During the fifth week into the coronavirus outbreak in Sweden, week 14, the largest number of newly unemployed people were registered. That particular week, unemployment increased significantly in all age groups, but was dominated by people in the younger age groups. In detail, 6,136 Swedes between 30 and 39 years and 5,591 Swedes aged 24 years or younger, registered as unemployed.
