Finland: COVID-19 impact on revenues of companies

In November 2020, roughly 68 percent of the Finnish companies expected negative impacts on their revenue development due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Based on survey results, six percent of the companies estimated that the revenue loss will likely exceed 75 percent in December. At the same time, roughly one third of the surveyed companies expected their revenue to increase or remain at the same level as in the previous year.

As of August 2020, Finnish companies were more confident about their future prospects than in March or April. 81 percent estimated that their business will continue to operate despite the difficulties caused by the coronavirus outbreak.
