Distribution of real estate transactions in Italy 2018, by category
In 2018, real estate transactions in Italy involved mainly residential properties. In fact, as the graph shows, 92 percent of all real estate transactions in the country were for residential units. Moreover, five percent of the transactions was made up of real estate units dedicated to retail. The remaining three percent was split between industrial and office real estate units.
