Change in residential real estate transactions in main cities in Italy H1 2019
Among main the main Italian cities, Genoa, in the region of Liguria, was the one registering the largest growth in the residential real estate sector in the first half of 2019, in terms transactions. In fact, between the first quarter of 2018 and the first quarter of 2019, Genoa recorded an increase in the number of residential real estate transaction higher in than 15 percent. On the other hand, the sector appears to have suffered in Rome, where the number of transactions decreased by nearly 12 percent.
