Vietnam: frequency of online gaming by age 2022

According to a survey by Rakuten Insight on online gaming in 2022, about 46 percent of Vietnamese respondents aged between 25 to 34 years stated that they played online games daily. In the same survey, the majority of online gamers indicated that one gaming session lasted between one to two hours.

The survey was conducted among 986 female and 1,079 male respondents.

The survey was conducted among
792 respondents aged 16 to 24 years,
899 respondents aged 25 to 34 years,
454 respondents aged 35 to 44 years,
113 respondents aged 45 to 54 years and
32 respondents aged 55 years and older.

Other surveyed countries included China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Taiwan.
