From March 16 to 22, 2020, amidst the COVID-19 outbreak in Brazil, sales of dumbbells, discs, and barbells on online marketplace Mercado Libre increased by nearly 88 percent comapred to the week from February 24 to March 1, 2020. Moreover, sales of puzzles increased by 76.4 percent. In Brazil, Mercado Libre is known as Mercado Livre, its name in Portuguese.
