As of March 2020, the topic that saw the biggest decrease in followers on Instagram in Italy was vape. Since the start of the coronavirus pandemic, the topic has shrunk by 180 percent. Influencers' accounts related to snowboarding saw the number of their followers decrease by 51 percent, fashion design followed with less 35 percent.
