As per the results of April 2022 survey on online gaming by Rakuten Insight, a majority of the surveyed Indian gamers engaged in free to play online games. About 37 percent between 45 and 54 years of age, and 36 percent of respondents who were 55 years old and above stated that they played completely free games in the surveyed time period.
