Italian tourists considering eco-friendly aspects when planning trips 2011-2023
In 2023, the share of Italian tourists who reported considering environmentally friendly aspects when planning trips slightly increased over the previous year. In the 2023 survey, 60 percent of respondents said they make eco-friendly choices when planning which trip destinations, accommodation establishments, and transportation to choose. This was the second-highest figure recorded over the period considered.
