Oil wells in operation in Mexico 2022, by operator
Mexico's national oil corporation Petróleos Mexicanos, commonly known as Pemex, operated roughly 90 percent of crude oil wells in Mexico as of May 2022. At that point in time, there were 4,209 crude oil wells in operation in the Latin American country. Pemex was also the operator of 134 out of 199 oil wells drilled in Mexico in 2021.
