Mexico: audience growth of online supermarkets vs online retail March 2020

From February 17 to 23, 2020, before COVID-19 was announced as a pandemic, both the number of visits to online supermarkets and the number of visits to online retailers in general (supermarkets included) in Mexico increased by 100 percent compared to the previous week. However, from March 23 to 29, 2020, the weekly growth rate of online supermarkets amounted to 190 percent, while the growth rate of overall e-tailers was 100 percent again.
