U.S. employment of native and foreign born workers 2022, by occupation
In 2022, 25.1 percent of the native born workforce in the United States was employed in professional and related occupations, compared to 21.8 percent of the foreign born workforce employed in the same occupation. Foreign born workers were more likely to be found in the transportation and material moving occupations, construction and extraction occupations, healthcare support occupations, and building and grounds cleaning and maintenance occupations.
