China: electricity used at public EV charging facilities 2020-2022, by month
In December 2022, China's public electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure recorded approximately 2,140 GWh of electricity usage, an increase of 83 percent from the same month of the previous year. The electricity was mainly used to charge buses and passenger cars.
