Interest rate of new mortgage loans South Korea 2010-2019

The interest rate for new mortgage loans in South Korea recorded the lowest figure in 2019, standing at 2.74 percent. It is estimated the interest rate to decrease even further in 2020 due to the coronavirus crisis. Ahead of the government's real estate regulations in early 2020, the mortgage loans for housing investment increased together with household loans.
