The number of cruise passenger movements at the Italian port of Genoa grew significantly in 2022 over the previous year, after falling dramatically with the onset of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Despite the sharp increase, cruise passenger movements in Genoa remained below pre-pandemic levels, totaling around 1.1 million in 2022.
