In a survey conducted in Australia in 2020, regarding businesses that anticipated adverse impacts due to the coronavirus, 62 percent of retail trade businesses stated that they expected a reduced cash flow to have an adverse impact on their business. Comparatively, 61 percent of retail businesses stated that they expected a reduced demand for goods or services to have an adverse impact on their business. In contrast, 16 percent of retail trade businesses stated that they expected reduced access to credit or additional funds to have an adverse effect on their business.
