
Value added to GDP by personal services in South Africa 2014-2019
In 2019, the personal services sector in South Africa contributed with an added value of roughly 172.2 billion South African rand (around 11.3 billion U.S. dollars) to the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The contribution increased in comparison to the previous year, when the sector's added value to the GDP was at approximately 170.5 billion rand (about 11.2 billion U.S. dollars).
