Devices used for live radio listening in Italy in 2020, by macro-region
Radio installed in the car was the most used device among Italian listeners living in the North-West of the country. A survey from 2020 revealed that 59 percent of them listened to live radio through their car radio, while 40 percent of the Italian people living in the Islands did the same. Smartphones were used for live radio listening mostly in the Southern regions (52 percent).
