The total value of fintech deals in France peaked markedly during fourth quarter of 2020, when the value reached more than 9.4 billion U.S. dollars. The fintech deal value was significantly lower the following two quarters, but higher than the previous quarters, reaching a value of around 1.1 billion U.S. dollars during second quarter 2021.
