Medication sales volume share in Russia 2020-2022, by type
In 2022, over-the-counter (OTC) medications accounted for approximately 62 percent of pharmaceutical sales in packages in Russia. The share of prescription medicines marked a slight increase over the observed period. The largest share of the market in physical terms was occupied by medication in the price category from 150 to 500 Russian rubles per package.
